Restaurant Istanbul Oriental is a traditional restaurant in the centre of Oulu. The restaurant has been awarded the prestigious Chaîne des Rôtisseurs shield.
The 40-seater restaurant at street level was decorated in a way that respects the Turkish background of the restaurant’s founder, Bahri Karagümüs. The basement also contains private rooms known as Topkapi, Bodrum and Salon, and the decoration of these rooms is consistent with the atmosphere upstairs. The basement also houses the restaurant’s kitchen, which has a special charcoal oven.
