The town plan prepared for Pikkulahti Beach in Raahe focuses on the recreational area, creating a coherent and vibrant central park for the city.

A recreation, sport and park plan was prepared for the Pikkulahti Beach area, as well as a town plan and an amendment to the town plan on the basis of the park plan. The plan creates an area focused on recreation, directly connected to the centre of Raahe. The coastal nature, valuable archipelago landscape and the proximity to a built cultural heritage site of national significance in the form of Raahe’s grid-plan blocks create a unique foundation for the design work.
