Restaurant Virta
Lasaretinsaari island is a site of cultural-historical value, like an oasis in the middle of the most beautiful part of Oulu. Several of the buildings on the island were constructed in the 19th century.

We have designed the interiors for the buildings on Lasaretinsaari island since 1998. The most recent interior design work involves alterations to hotel rooms and restaurant dining rooms. Guests will be charmed by the idyllic landscape of the Oulujoki river, the courtyards surrounded by historical buildings, and the high standards of quality and comfort in the renovated hotel rooms.
Restarurant Lasaretti is the newest building in the area, and it contains a restaurant, banquet halls and other facilities. The most recent interior design work – the conversion of a gym and swimming pool area into a restaurant – was completed in 2019. The Joki Hall is now a restaurant open for lunch and by reservation, as well as a function room. The Puisto and Pato Halls and the Lohi suite serve as banqueting and conference spaces. All the rooms provide stunning views of Ainola park and the Oulunjoki river.
