The electricity building of Tampere Vocational College is located on the edge of the square at the entrance to the Hervanta campus, next to the main building and the upper secondary school building. The building contains teaching facilities for electrical, electronic and metal engineering, as well as workshops.

The façades of the electricity building are mainly constructed of red brick, with some silk-printed façade glass and painted façade panels. The red brick harmonises the appearance with the other buildings around the entrance square.
